Sarah Joyner

Sarah Joyner is 2019’s Miss Georgia United States and is known as The Social Social Worker (@thesocialsocialworker) on Instagram. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s in Social Work from New Mexico State University and a Masters of Social Work from Texas State University.

Before moving to Austin, Sarah worked with refugees from various countries to include: Afghanistan, Iran, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Syria. and assisted them in adjusting to their new lives in America academically, emotionally, and socially.

Sarah believes every person deserves the opportunity to live their best and most authentic life, and she looks forward to supporting individuals on their journey of self-discovery. When Sarah is not in the office or recording podcasts, she enjoys cooking, and spending time with loved ones.

Sarah is an LMSW supervised by Kelly Dunn, LCSW-S.
